Intro

This Marine veteran and seasoned Ham Radio Operator hails from the Mid-West, where he runs a successful web development company with over 20 years of experience in web design and development.

His journey in tech began in high school, where he taught himself HTML and developed web pages for his school. Around this time, he also obtained his Amateur Radio License, made contact with the former MIR space station, and saved up for his first GPS. His passion for radio communication led him to the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served as a Field Radio Operator, Encryption NCO, and Air Operator, gaining advanced training in radio communications, cold-weather survival, and NBC warfare.

After leaving the military, he earned a full scholarship to a private college, where he managed the college’s web team and led a successful site redesign that won a CASE Award in 2006. His career further expanded at a prestigious institution, where he served as a webmaster, honing his expertise in web usability and digital strategy.

Beyond his work, he is an avid runner, backpacker, and photographer, with a love for geocaching, GPS/GIS, and international travel. His specialties include WordPress development, VHF/UHF & satellite communications, and search engine optimization, making him a well-rounded professional with a unique blend of digital and field communication skills..
